Detectives from the Baltimore County Police Department responded to a shooting in the 1700 block of Glen Keith Boulevard at approximately 11 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 4, according to a spokesperson for the agency.

Officials said that a man was transported to the hospital during the investigation, though his condition was not immediately available on Friday afternoon.

The shooting incident led to a lockdown of "a number of schools in the east Towson/west Parkville area,” according to a schools spokesperson.

No other details were immediately available. More information is expected to be released by the police as the investigation continues.
